AHO Wins 2014 Sustainable Cities Award!

The Aboriginal Heritage Office (AHO) has won the Office of Environment and Heritage Cultural Heritage Award in the 2014 Keep Australia Beautiful Sustainable Cities Award program.

The Sustainable Cities Program is the state’s leading community and environmental awards program for metropolitan communities.

Congratulations to all Councillors, Mayors and General Managers who have enabled the AHO concept to flourish. This award is recognition of the partnering Councils’ efforts in establishing the AHO and measures to ensure the protection of Aboriginal culture & heritage.
