This is a celebration of Duke Kahanamoku who surfed at Sydney beaches including Freshwater, Dee Why, and Cronulla.
His surfing demonstrations, including a tandem ride with Isabel Lethem, significantly contributed to igniting the popularity of surfing in Australia and forever etched Duke into the heart of Freshwater. |
