AHO presents at Gordon Library for Heritage Festival

Karen Smith, Education Officer at the Aboriginal Heritage Office (AHO), will talk on the Aboriginal Heritage and Culture and the stories and history of our local area, shining a light on some previously hidden figures in early Sydney.

The stories of Sydney during the late 1700s and early 1800s often see Aboriginal women forgotten. In this talk Karen will reexamine the stories of these women, and will invite you to engage with the way they have been remembered by history.
