Tibetan Monks at Northbridge!

LAST DAYS!!

Saturday and Sunday 1st-2nd August

The Tibetan monks of Sacred Footsteps from the Roof of the World have been creating a sand mandala here at the Aboriginal Heritage Office in Northbridge. The AHO is hosting Geshe Sonam Thargye and the monks from Sera Jhe Monastery, who have been creating a traditional Tibetan sand mandala over 6 days as well as many other activities.

Time is running out – don’t miss the opportunity to see and watch the creation of this incredible symbol of compassion and peace. You can join the monks for meditation Sunday morning (9.30-10.00am).  The final dissolution is from 2pm Sunday and after the final prayers and blessings happens very quickly, so make sure you are here on time.
